Our Guarantee

Gaining your trust is paramount to our success. There is no better way to gain your trust than to guarantee the quality of our work. Brooks Painting provides a three-year guarantee on all work that has been completed and for which payment has been made. Interior work is guaranteed for three years, and exterior work is either 3 years or 5 years depending on the number of coats applied. It's our job to make sure you are happy with your painting experience, and we guarantee it.

The Fine Print

The warranty set forth below is conditioned upon Owner having paid in full all sums due under this agreement, including any extras. Unless otherwise agreed by both parties in writing, the sole warranty of the work shall be as follows: Contractor warrants workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the final billing. If paint failure appears during the warranty period due to improper workmanship, Contractor will supply labor and material to correct the condition. Responsibility is limited to correcting the condition as indicated above. Any claim under this warranty must be made by delivering written notification to Contractor within 10 days of discovery of such condition. This warranty excludes, and in no event will Contractor be responsible for damages caused by accident or abuse, temperature changes, settlement or moisture, cracks caused by expansion and/or contraction. This warranty does not include surfaces that are stained, walked-on, horizontal surfaces, wood sills and horizontal mullions, sun-exposed varnish, below screed, stucco walls damaged by water due to lack of screed, back-filled retaining walls and metal. Cracks in existing surfaces will be properly prepared as indicated at time of job, but re-emergence of such cracks will not be covered under this warranty. Our warranty does not cover previous coating failure. We can not be responsible for coatings that were not applied by us. Color fading is a natural process that occurs due to UV rays, and is not paint failure. Mildew is also a natural occurring event and is not paint failure. Although there are additives to put in paint, and lots of paints say “mildew resistant”, this is not a paint failure. When homeowners decide to provide the paint instead of us, we do not offer a warranty. We also offer a premium warranty of 5 years, with 3 annual inspections, and lifetime warranty on material by ICI paints. When you do a complete prime coat, and a finish coat using ICI Fortis paint we offer this outstanding warranty. We will come out once a year for the first three year and inspect the surfaces, do any touch up or repairs needed to extend the life of your paint job. We have partnered with ICI to offer this unprecedented guarantee to bring a greater value to our customers.

This warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive warranty made by the contractor, regardless of any manufacturer warranties.
